The "Sandy" Turtle
My sea salt caramel and chocolate turtle cheesecake is a balanced blend of caramel and chocolate swirled in a silky, smooth light brown sugar cheesecake. The “Sandy” Turtle is baked on a roasted pecan, graham cracker crust drizzled in made from scratch sea salt caramel sauce. It is topped with caramel sauce, chocolate ganache and garnished with chocolate dipped roasted pecans.

The “Sandy” Turtle is named after my brother in law for his love of the turtle cheesecake. I first made this cheesecake for his birthday which has now become his birthday cake.
